Once more, excellence in IT solutions was sought and recognised including the coveted Award for ICT Implementation of the Year at the VIDI awards in Croatia.
The ICT Gold Awards process, enacted by VIDI publishing, starts with customer nominations and subsequent customer and nominee interviews.
The adjudicating comittee is drawn from industry to be impartial and expert in their fields of study and work.
The award ceremony of the ICT Gold Awards for the best ICT solutions of Croatian companies was held within the VIDI Awards of the BIG3 conference. For the implementation of AIDA Vertical Integration in TDR (British American Tobacco owned factory in Croatia), the Industry 4.0 Award was presented to the Founder of CODEL d.o.o, Mr. Marijan Sever.
The problem of how to knit the connections of sometimes older industrial machines with an advanced BI systems like SAP was solved with the intelligent application of many interleaving techniques, across the large TDR plant in Kanfanar.
With this implementation, it was possible to transfer data from SAP in real-time to production machines, as well as real-time data from machines to SAP.
